30 plus year employee of Ecolab. Loved her work and worked her way up from an accounting clerk position to a Director’s position. Retired in 2017 upon her ALS diagnosis.
Was passionate about woman’s issues in the workplace. Served on the board of Dress For Success for three years prior to her death.
Loved by many/all. Always put her family and friends before herself. Known for her many years of hosting a Christmas Eve Gala/Open House for family, friends, neighbors and all who wanted to come.
Was planning her retirement with husband Chris when diagnosed with ALS. Retirement was to be in June of 2017, just a few months after her diagnosis. Never realized the plans and dreams that she and Chris had worked so hard for.
Fought ALS with furor and dignity. Worked with husband Chris to search out any and all treatments that might slow her disease progression and make her life easier while living with ALS.
Since Michelle’s passing, her family decided to continue her fight against ALS. The foundation formed in her name and memory works to embody the spirit in which Michelle fought her illness and her strong conviction to work to find meaningful treatments and/or a cure for ALS.
